The First Agreement: Always be Impeccable With Your Word.

While every individual has their biases and there is no such thing as full objectivity, by never taking whatever thing personally, people can really limit their ability to spot their own unhelpful patterns and biased thinking, and work on developing more healthy patterns and clear-sighted views.
The Third Agreement: Don't Make Assumptions.
A large amount of stress is created when people assume they can read what other people are thinking without consulting with them. Comprehending that other individuals might have different motivations for their actions, even substantially varying world perceptions, and remembering to really try to understand other individuals and discuss these motivations before jumping to conclusions regarding their behavior, can go a long way toward discouraging interpersonal conflict.

As long as you put honest effort into life, you won't have a thing to be ashamed of, and will never 'beat yourself up' over a less-than-stellar performance in retrospect.
